My Butler Bag!

My Butler Bag

For research purposes (*clears throat*), I ordered a butler bag from the Butler Bag Sample Sale Site last week. Ok, I have really, really wanted one for a while now, and decided to treat myself since they are being sold at such a discount!

Sample

Less than one week later, the bag I ordered arrived – the Classic style    (smaller than Hybrid), in the coffee color, with the handy dust protector cloth bag. After careful inspection, I could find nothing that would reveal that it was a "sample" bag, aside from the word "sample" stamped inside the zippered interior pocket. ——-see picture——>

There is a disclaimer on the Butler Bag sample sale site that says these sample bags could have imperfections ranging from inconsistancy in color or leather grain, to small scratches – none of which were apparent on the bag I received – it looked perfect to me!!

The leather is soft to the touch and the stitching is a nice touch all around. The cloth covered interior is very nice, because it allows me to place my touch screen phone and ipod touch in their own little section so that I don't have to worry about them being scratched by my keys, pens, coins, or other sharp things normally found floating around in my purse.

I quickly proceeded to dump the contents of my "everyday purse" on the counter and filled my new Butler Bag. Believe it or not, I have room to spare! I cannot remember ever having an organized purse! It always started out organized, but within a few days of running around - tossing it in the car, having it fall from the car seat to the floor, throwing things inside of it, etc. – organization was the last thing you would see when looking inside my purse!  I am so happy with this bag, that I am going to order the larger Hybrid bag for my "work bag" since it can hold my travel laptop and other necessities to get me through a typical work week. I can rationalize this purchase as a work expense (hehehe!) – besides, it's on sale too!

Here are some pictures of my bag. (Oh, the black thing you see in the first picture is the polishing cloth for my ipod.) Yes, the pics are a little small, but if you click on them you will see a larger version.

The Butler Bag Sample Sale!

If you are a bargain hunter, then this is your chance to order the most organized handbag on the planet at rock-bottom prices!!  Why in the world would you buy a Butler Bag on ebay, at inflated prices, plus astronomical shipping fees, when you can get them starting at 40% off and up, plus free shipping if you order just 2 bags??? Check out the link below to see for yourself!

Seriously, I just checked ebay and there are people bidding on the exact same bags and the prices are currently $20 over the actual sales price (or more), plus shipping charges of $15 for bags that are still available on the Butler Bag Sample Sale Site! If you are bidding on Butler Bags advertised on eay, then read the description – if they refer to bags that have an interior pocket stamped with "sample" or to the condition as new but slightly imperfect, they are probably the same bags you can get direct from the manufacturer for less.

Even though they are "sample" bags, you would never know – at least I couldn't tell from the bag I ordered at a fraction of the regular price! These bags are being sold as samples, because there is the chance that they may have a slight imperfection in the grain of the leather, inconsistent color, or a small scratch. I could see none of that in my bag. This is the perfect opportunity (or excuse) to treat yourself!
